Day 302 photo. On the Wall.

November 30. On the Wall.

Finishing out this month of photos has been monumental for me. Now that I’ve passed photo number 300, I feel confident for the very first time that I will actually finish this 365-project.

I wrap up the month of November with today’s photo topic, On The Wall.¬† I love this topic because it gives me yet another excuse to take a picture of a mural! If you didn’t see that one coming, then you haven’t been reading my blog! ūüôā

Recently I realized that mural art is pretty active in Portland. There’s new paintings going up all the time, like this one here, when I realized it was painted over a previous mural.

Here is my original post of a mural I’d taken photos of back in September.¬† I hadn’t realized it at the time, because the mural looked so complete already, but at that time they were just starting out. They’ve done so much more to it since then!

Look at all the details they’ve added.¬† People doing all sorts of activities. And an entire taller section on the right-hand-side on the adjacent wall-space. I’m excited to keep an eye on it to see if they continue working on the piece, or if it is finished now.

Day 300 photo. Vehicle.

November 28. Vehicle.

I’m completely fascinated with motorcycles. Whenever I see them driving around or in parking lots, it always turns my head and I take a closer look. This one parked next to me at my work parking lot. It reminds me of a Transformer. I can picture it unfolding into a giant robot.

Day 299 photo. Tree

November 27. Tree.

One of my favorite things to take pictures of, trees.

This is great big one on NE Fremont. Its on an empty lot, which back in the early 1900’s certainly had a grand old house on it. Now its just an empty lot. But the tree remains, as well as the concrete steps that walk up from the sidewalk to the property.

Day 298 photo. In my cupboard.

November 26. In my cupboard.

I feel like this is one of those reality shows or something, where you agree to work with a nutritionist or fitness trainer, and the first thing they do is come unannounced into your kitchen to see what kind of crap you’ve been eating.¬† Straight from the cupboard into the trash go those 2 boxes of pop tarts!

Day 297 photo. sky.

November 25. Sky.

One of my favorite things to take pictures of: the sky. But the sky wasn’t very interesting today. Mostly a solid gray sheet of overcast, without even any dark shadows or cool shapes in the clouds. Then, the sky cleared up enough to enjoy the almost full moon.

Day 296 photo. A sound I heard.

November 24. A sound I heard.

The familiar honking and cackling of a flock of Canada Geese.
