Day 98 photo- Portland’s bike culture

It seems like every few blocks there’s another bicycle-related store. Ma-and-Pa places are the best, like Abraham Fixes Bikes.  His shop location is perfect because it’s right on the Williams Avenue bike path, the major route to get to North and inner NE Portland.

For a long time Abraham had a homemade, hand painted sign. To me, that was part of the appeal. But I am glad his business is doing well enough that he’s graduated to a new sign and spruced up storefront, with new paint even.

  1. Nice tour of some of Portland’s cycling magnificence. Familiar locales these Williams spots. Happy riding!
